What makes the "Tucor Flowmaster" Irrigation Control system different from the other systems on the market.
This newly patented technology will allow you to expand a new or existing irrigation system indefinitely. You no longer have to re-wire your irrigation system to expand or modify the system. The unique "two-wire decoder" technology allows anyone to infinitely add to an existing irrigation system, using only two wires to completely control the system.
There are two very different features that separate Tucor/Flowmaster from the others.
Perhaps the biggest distinction and strongest advantage is the use of a single two-wire cable for activation of all valves and sensors. All other systems require an individual wire for each and every valve. The wire can only be used to activate a valve. Communication and expansion therefore is not possible.
The BENEFIT to the owner is that with Tucor technology in place he will be able to expand or modify the system without having to rewire the system. As the project grows and his needs change, the system adapts, yet he only pays for the capacity required at the time of installation.
The second way in which our system is unique is that we build a modem into each controller.
The BENEFIT to the owner is that with our Windows 95 based software the owner or the management contractor can monitor, activate or adjust all watering from his home or office PC. All at a fraction of the cost of comparable control systems. This ability relates to increased water conservation and reduced labor costs. Additionally, with our patented conversion terminal we can convert existing systems to our two-wire decoder based technology allowing you to renovate existing systems.
Below are some additional benefits of the Tucor Flowmaster system
This system can determine where you have a water line break or leak, without sending someone to the field, which creates significant labor savings.
In commercial irrigation applications the "end user" had been limited to the renovations or upgrades they make because of the enormous investment to rerouting wiring and control station upgrades. With Tucor these limits are eliminated.
On #14 gage wire you can operate at a distance of over three miles while operating five valves simultaneously.
Add up to 100 valves off of any single valve in the existing system without rewiring back to the controller.
Centrally monitor all valves from the office. Eliminate the need to manually control valves in the field. Your customer no longer will have to send a maintenance crew to the field to check operation.
Irrigate multiple sites, at multiple locations regardless of distance, from the customer's home, office, while on vacation or any place in the world, at a price your customer can cost justify.
A control system that makes its own schedule of irrigation based on sensor inputs.
A controller that maintains an internal log of the resulting savings.
A central monitor system that records all daily logs of all systems.
The ability to monitor flow, sending alarms statements, your customer will be able to review the entire network and spot leaks, breaks or plugged nozzles from the office. Your customer could pinpoint, what project, which building and the specific zone that failed!
